We’ve come a long way. We’re just getting started.
Purpose was built on a simple belief: financial services can do more when they start with people. Since 2013, we have kept opening new paths for investors, advisors and entrepreneurs to create wealth on their own terms.

Built from the problem out.
Purpose started with a question: how can we solve real problems and help people succeed? Every business we build, partnership we form, and solution we bring to Canadians is in service of the same goal: making the wealth system more open, more connected, and more useful for the people it's supposed to serve. The industry may be complex. Our purpose is not.

Our ethos.
We lead with confidence, but not from a distance. We believe the best financial companies stay close to the people they serve, listen before they build, and stay open enough to keep evolving.

What matters to us.
The next chapter of wealth will be more personal, more participatory, and more connected. We believe people want more than access. They want agency, clarity, and partners that help them move with purpose.

“Our work is to build a wealth system around the person, not ask the person to build it themselves.”
Our story.
